Arthur Road, Wimbledon (Phase 2)

Following the successful redesign of the first floor, Jude was invited to transform several ground-floor spaces within this Arthur Road family home, including the formal sitting room, library, snug and conservatory.

The sitting room and library schemes were led by the clients’ artwork, introducing a warm palette of apricots and teals. Existing seating was reupholstered in soft linens and country-style fabrics, layered with bespoke fringed cushions. Walnut side cabinets with bronze grilles were designed to sit comfortably alongside existing antiques, while bespoke rugs complete the scheme.

In the adjoining snug and conservatory, a relaxed and sociable atmosphere was created through layered textures and accents of coral and teal. The existing L-shaped sofa was reupholstered and paired with piped and fringed cushions, grounded by a soft wool sisal-effect rug. Two bespoke ottomans—one with a sliding tray and the other in a distinctive clover shape—add both practicality and character.
