JMID was invited back into this delightful clients’ home to renovate and refresh their final two loft bedrooms.  These quirky rooms had been unloved for a number of years, and Jude was tasked with the challenge of warming them up and creating soft, cosy spaces whilst retaining a light, open and airy feel to both rooms.

Jude started by wrapping walls and ceilings in both rooms in cocooning complementary wallpapers.  For a soft airy feel, she selected pale blues and warm beiges for the larger of the two rooms, and zingy blues and citrus tones for the smaller of the two rooms.  A contemporary country feel was achieved in both rooms with the use of textured linens and weaves, florals, and chunky knits.  Modern bedsides and furniture combined with more traditional soft furnishings blended together created the desired ambience, warmth and cosiness Jude’s clients were seeking.
